Open Letter to Keir Starmer: A Philosophical Imperative from Israel's Secular Lens: Evolve Digital IDs Beyond Borders

Open Letter to Prime Minister Keir Starmer: Digital IDs as Nature's Code – Lessons from Israel's Resilient Forge

Dear Prime Minister Starmer,

Your surname evokes a constellation of leadership–Star for visionary light, Mayor for communal care, Major for steadfast resolve. As you announce mandatory digital "Brit cards" this week–aimed at fortifying borders, verifying work rights, and curbing exploitation–know that from Israel's secular vantage, I applaud the intent. In our volatile region, where two metaphorical states coexist (the pragmatic secular forge and the timeless religious hearth), we've no luxury for hesitation. Our biometric IDs, compulsory since 2017 and refined post-2020 amid conflicts (with expirations enforced by January 2025 and wartime digital pivots), aren't ornaments. They're the genetic script of survival: encoding unity in a land where air, water, and threats are shared.

Yet, sir, elevate this beyond policy to philosophy, lest it become political fodder. We speak of evolution's mimicry: one atmosphere, one hydrologic cycle, one earthly cradle; families guided by natural hierarchy, humanity from singular genes, health as communal rite, aspirations converging on the ideal. Digital ID emulates this–structuring society like DNA assembles life, from molecules to organisms. In Israel's high-pressure secular realm, it simplifies for the law-abiding majority: swift services, fraud's end, security's embrace. Slepka holds no terror for the compliant; it's the order enabling individuality to flourish amid brevity's curse.

But humanity's frailty demands wisdom. Life's shortness thwarts true self-development; most labor for the state, individuality a whisper. Equality? If absolute, it equates us to flocks–nature abhors such flatness, assigning roles in cosmic ballet. We are specks against planets, matter in time's flux–nihilistic? No, humbling. Our place? Yet to be charted, beyond rationalist hubris. Politicians must lead seriously: from origins, not labels. Israel's system proves control can perfect, not suppress–data vaults encrypted, separate from prying eyes, fostering trust in crisis.

For Britain, I urge: Phase it in voluntarily, as our pilot did, consulting the wary. Silo data like sacred genes; prioritize transparency to build the equality nature implieseach knowing their indispensable niche. Let IDs unlock personalized growth: education, health, opportunity–not mere gates. Your plan tackles migration's shadows humanely; now, let it illuminate our shared humanity.

In this cycle of substances and stars, evolve wisely, Prime Minister. Israel's forge, tempered by fire, offers the blueprint. Will Britain seize it?

With philosophical regard,

A Person from Ukraine: Memory of Humanity – Against Oblivion / Человек с Украины: Память человечества – против забвения / Людина з України: Пам’ять людства – проти забуття

A Person from Ukraine: Memory of Humanity – Against Oblivion I am an ordinary person from Ukraine, from Crimea (Alushta). I am an engineer. In 2009, I realized that a personal computer is not just a machine, but the guardian of my life. Since then, I have been storing personal documents, family photos, work projects, thoughts, music and films. Over the years, I have felt more and more clearly that the modern world is erasing personality. Wars, refugees, artificial intelligence , algorithms – all this turns a person into an “average value”. Leaders without ideas, the abolition of faith, constant comparison – and millions of worthy people throughout the history of Earth remain nameless. I do not want my thoughts, the life of my family and the lives of ordinary people to disappear without a trace. That would be a disgrace for all of humanity. That is why I propose a simple but powerful idea: Create a “ Capsule of Humanity’s Memory ” – a long-lasting storage medium accessible t...

Signs of Occupation.

Date: September 6, 2025 Signs of Occupation I live in Crimea, in Alushta. I’ll try to make sense of it. I’m fed up. In general, without emotions or details for now–but details are necessary and will follow later. The question of signs of occupation in Crimea, including Alushta, requires examining both historical context and the current situation in light of international law and political realities. The term "occupation" is used here in the context of international law, where Crimea is considered an occupied territory of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, as per UN resolutions and other international documents. Signs of Occupation from the Perspective of International Law Under the Hague Conventions (1907) and Geneva Conventions (1949), occupation is defined as the temporary control of one state over another’s territory without the consent of the international community or the legitimate sovereign. For Crimea, this stems from the 2014 annexation by Russia following a...
